Kickoff of P*DA Global Tour to New York!
As part of our P*DA outreach engagements, we have embarked on our very first global tour starting at the Big Apple, New York!
Together wth our international partner, the Copper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, who runs the National Design Awards (NDA), we are organising a talk on “Thinking Trough Making: A Panel Discussion”, which will be held on 17 April 2019. The talk will be conducted from 6.30pm to 8.00pm at the Copper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.
Two of our recipients, Hans Tan, P*DA Designer of the Year 2018, and Phua Hong Wei of WOHA Architects, lead designer for P*DA Design of the Year 2016 Enabling Village and 2018 for Oasia Hotel Downtown, will be part of a panel talk at the Smithsonian Design Museum. They will share their thoughts on the future of design and designing for future-readiness. They will also share relevant projects, past and ongoing, that deals with these themes. There will be a panel discussion and interactive Q&A segment with the audience!
The talk is open to public and registration can be made here.
