Yip Yuen Hong (1959) graduated from National University of Singapore with degree in Architecture.

He has worked in the offices of William Lim, Tay Kheng Soon and the Housing Development Board, Singapore. He has also tutored in Lasalle-SIA College of the Arts and the National University of Singapore.

Yuen Hong started ip:li Architects with Lee Ee Lin (1969) in 2002. Some prizes they have garnered through these years are the 8th Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) Architectural Design Awards in 2006, President’s Design Award in 2011, 12th SIA Architectural Design Awards and President’s Design Award in 2012 and 13th SIA Architectural Design Awards in 2013 as well as the President’s Design Award for Designer of the Year.
