Theseus Chan believes that a strong creative piece of work should evoke reactions of surprise and desirability. His diverse portfolio encompasses a selection of clients such as Louis Vuitton (Japan), Uniqlo (Japan), Club 21 (Singapore), Pedder Group (Hong Kong) and UBS Bank.

He was conferred the Designer of the Year at the inaugural President’s Design Award in 2006 – Singapore’s highest accolade for designers. He was also selected as one of the world’s top 100 designers in Phaidon’s Area 2, 2008.

Theseus’ accolades include several D&AD Yellow Pencils, New York Art Directors Club (ADC), Tokyo Type Director’s Club and the Singapore Creative Circle. He has worked on several art and design collaborations, most notably with Keiichi Tanaami, the psychedelic visual master from Japan. He has also judged at several design awards, in particular, he served as Head Juror for Magazine & Newspaper Design at the British Design & Art Director’s Club.

In 2012, he was honoured with a solo exhibition at ggg (Ginza Graphic Gallery, Tokyo), a museum dedicated to contemporary Graphic Design.

In spring 2013, WERK Magazine was exhibited at Trading Museum in Tokyo, I.T. CDG Hong Kong and Beijing.
