Dan Stubbergaard founded COBE Architects in 2005 and is the creative driving force in the daily work at COBE’s Copenhagen office. He is involved in all phases of the studio’s projects – from sketching to design and project management.
Alongside his architectural practice, Dan has been teaching at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and lectures internationally on COBE’s current projects. COBE is an internationally operating office based in Copenhagen and Berlin. Since the beginning COBE has gained a reputation as an innovative company, by winning a number of high profile projects and prizes. Currently COBE is realizing projects, such as the Nørreport Train Station in the centre of Copenhagen, The ROCKmagnet, Denmark’s museum of rock music in Roskilde and consulting the City of Berlin for the IBA 2020.
COBE wants to contribute towards building more decent, equitable, beautiful and sustainable cities. The company seeks to develop specific, innovative solutions for each assignment, with competences that include the physical realization of architecture, strategic urban planning, landscape design and research.
