P*DA x NUS: Curating Architecture at the School of Design

The President’s Design Award 2016 Exhibition made a stopover at the NUS School of Design and Environment from 22 March to 8 April 2017. To get the students more involved, they were made to apply some of their knowledge from their module “Curating Architecture” into curating the experience of the exhibition and helped to oversee the set-up phase.

We had the pleasure of some of our Award Recipients – Mr Rene Tan from RT+Q ArchitectsMs Candyse Lum from NSP Tech, Mr Ken Ding from Samsung Inc. and some of their colleagues addressing the students at the launch of the exhibition on 23 March 2017. The atmosphere at the launch event was vibrant, with students engaged in hearty discussions with the Award Recipients over food and drinks. There were even some talented students who entertained the crowd with their live music performances.
