Since his Singapore Fashion Designers Contest win in 1995, Alfie Leong has built an impressive fashion career, including winning several design awards and spawning two successful brands – a.w.o.l and MU.

Over the years, Alfie has represented Singapore at the Beijing Fashion Week and the Smirnoff International Contest. In 2001, he made the top 20 list of international designers at the Enkamania International competition, which was judged by Italian Vogue Editor-in- Chief Franca Sozzani, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Donna Karan, Yohji Yamamoto, Peter Lindbergh and Milla Jovovich.

At home, Alfie has previously made waves during the Singapore Fashion Week, the Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival, and the Singapore Fashion Festival. He has also done collaborations with both Swatch and homegrown street wear brand 77th Street.

Alfie is awarded Designer of the Year for the President’s Design Award 2013, for his body of work.
